About the Event
The International Community Model United Nations Vienna is an immersive diplomatic simulation where participants step into the roles of UN ambassadors, engaging in negotiations and shaping international policies. This edition will focus on one of the most pressing challenges of our time—Ukraine’s economic recovery. Delegates will represent different countries, debate strategies for financial aid, sustainable reconstruction, and global market integration, and work together to draft a resolution following official UN procedures.
This is not just a conference; it’s an opportunity to experience diplomacy firsthand, challenge yourself in high-level discussions, and gain a deeper understanding of international cooperation. Whether you’re a student of international relations, an aspiring diplomat, or simply eager to engage in meaningful global debates, this event will inspire and challenge you.
Join Us in Vienna
Taking place from 22nd to 24th May 2025, this three-day event will bring together young leaders from around the world to debate, negotiate, and collaborate in one of Europe’s most vibrant diplomatic hubs. Set in the heart of Vienna, the conference offers a chance to engage with global issues while experiencing the rich history of a city that hosts the United Nations, the OSCE, and numerous international organizations.
While we won’t have additional social events this year, there may be an opportunity for participants to visit the UN Office in Vienna, providing a unique glimpse into real-world diplomacy.
How to Apply
The participation fee is 350 EUR, with a limited number of partial scholarships available. To be considered for financial support, apply by 25th February 2025. The final deadline to secure your place is 15th March 2025. Participants must be at least 18 years old to join.
