ICMUN 2023 online represented a valuable occasion for us to discuss the use of nuclear energy, which is still controversial at some points. Undoubtedly, many variables influence the political and diplomatic debates starting already with the climate crisis, including the use of nuclear energy as a means of power on the geopolitical stage.

In the article, it has been highlighted the development of the debate among the participants representing the current members of the actual Security Council and presented the final outcomes of the perhaps challenging online conference. The path towards a better and more peaceful world is complex, but it is only through these initiatives that we may achieve our sustainable and peaceful development goals while avoiding conflicts.
