Becoming part of model G20 was one of the best decisions I made in life, because it connected me to a community of like minded people around the world. The warmth I felt in interacting with people from different corners of the world while sitting at my home in India, cannot be put into words. Further, from the way the event was structured, to the discussion sessions, to drafting a communique, everything was wrapped so perfectly around public skills that it makes you push your limits and give your best. I chose to participate in MG20, since I study law and have interest in global politics. I believe that through participation’s in projects such as MG20 aspiring university students as well as young professionals can benefit a lot. For me, it was significant that the discussion were based on topical challenges for the global community what made this simulation similar to the real G20. My favorite part was the process of amending the final communique, during which I learnt more about negotiation.
